Welcome to Masjid Ar-Rowda

Ar-Rowda Masjid has been striving since the beginning to provide it's students, teachers, parents and guests with the ultimate and most comfortable atmosphere to study and relax.  As you all know I.E.G.C. use to have a previous Madrasa where all our loyal students use to come and learn the knowledge of the Deen. They were always prompt and ready to learn from their dedicated teachers who also aspired to teach their students to the best of their abilities. IEGC believes that these students and teachers who strived to achieve the best deserved the best, which is the reason why we had to find a more spacious facility to learn and teach in comfort. Having said that, we started to venture for a more suitable location and found what is now Ar-Rowda Masjid. The pursuit of our dream became so appealing that we decided to propose the idea to our loyal community that has been with us for years. Alhamdulillah, they were just as eager to get the process started in order to reach our goal. We have come a long way since but we still have not purchased the property in full. IEGC understands that this is a cause that will help our community for years to come.


Our aim is to reach $ 3, 000,000 and it not possible to reach that without you all. We urge our community to get involved and donate generously because this is in the interest of their children and generations to come. Both young and old can get involved to achieve a brighter tomorrow.  We ask the parents to encourage their children to volunteer at the Masjid as well as the young adults to donate along with their parents. This cause is a responsibility bestowed upon us and you by Allah SWT.  Ar-Rowda Masjid is approximately 8000 square feet and accommodates well over 1600 people at a time. This was defiantly an upgrade from our previous facility that was unable to accommodate our 400 students that were eager for knowledge. As you can imagine, we were ecstatic with our new found Madrasa that soon became a full and functioning Masjid.


Ar-Rowda Masjid went from being a dream Madrasa to a Masjid that provides it's community with a place to pray all their prayers and come to for knowledge. We are proud to offer our community a place where they can also pray salatul Jumm’ah, Eid prayers and provide yearly conferences with well educated sheikhs. Furthermore, we offer an Ontario curriculum based school for ages: Junior Kindergarten through grade Eight. We have offered this knowing how crucial the early years of a child's life is. We are determined to help parents raise their children by providing the children with necessary knowledge of Islam. These children will obtain knowledge and habits that will stick with them for years to come and we have taken it upon ourselves to help them set off on the right path to life.


To go along with the Ontario curriculum based school we also offer Hadith/Quran classes which are meant for ages four through twenty four (both genders).  We have not forgotten the parents/adults either, as they are the foundation of our families. When parents are educated so are the children and so it the community. We offer both Quran and Hadith classes for both men and women so feel free to join any of the classes that suit you best! The classes include: the teaching of kitabul Bulug-a ‘almuram, fathul' majid, Usul’thalatha, Sunnan Abu duad, Tafsiir Quran and many more. Brothers and sisters, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said:  ("Whoever builds a house for Allah, Allah will Build a House for him in Paradise" [Bukhari]) so let's follow the Sunnah of our beloved prophet and achieve our dream of owning our Masjid together.
