We have promised you and now our new web site has been finally initiated to better serve all of our respected Students, Parents, brothers and sisters, who visit us daily. Our focus is to present Islaamic Education to everyone, as understood and practiced by Qur’an Was Sunnah. This website contains assorted sections that provide a collection of information that will act as a useful resource for everyone, both Students and Non-Students. Our new web site will now be able to serve you in both English and Arabic insha Allah.

You will now be able to access many things about the Islaamic Education Guidance Centre in assorted areas such as Qur’an, Hadeeth 'Aqeedah, Stories of Companion (p.b.u.h.), Du’a and Arabic,  we have also established an Ontario Curriculum that will start on September 3, 2009, To teach our young children.

I.E.G. Centre will provide you answers to your Questions promptly to assist you with both religious and personal problems. As of now I.E.G Centre will take questions to the Famous Ulamaa / scholars of Ahlus Sunnah Waljama’ah specifically, Sheikh Muhsin Al Abad, Sheikh Rabee Ibn Hadi, Sheikh Saleh al-Fouzan and Sheikh Muhammad Nur Qawi (Hafida humullahu) etc.

You will now be able to register for the new school year starting October, 3rd, 4th and 5th with numerous lessons, Duruus and memorization of Qur’an to increase our Islamic Knowledge. It is expected that you fully operate this section to extend your mission for Islamic Knowledge and to remove any mistaken belief about Islam.

MISSION

The Muslim community in the City of York is actively following the organization of an Islaamic Education Guidance Centre in the area of Toronto. The purpose of the centre are the following:

• Provide religious and community services to all Muslims, to present help to any person of similar influence in adapting to the Islamic culture and provide control of understanding and communication between Muslims and Others.
• Organize activities and provide opportunities for the spiritual training of its members in accordance with the teachings of Qur’an and the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) and keep the youth on the good side of the society that we are living with.
• Provide help with the memorization of the holy Qur’an and spiritual training such as:  The fundamentals of prayer and the proper way of finding correct knowledge.
• Engage in the reproduction of Islam (Al Da’wah).Our mission is to provide the highest standard of education to our students according the Ontario Curriculum in an Islamic environment.

BACKGROUND

In May of 1995, the Muslim families living or working in the organization Al-khayriah got together to discuss the possibility of starting an Islamic Education Guidance Centre for this School of Qur’an Was Sunnah. This active and enthusiastic group continues to meet week after week to plan and discuss progress of this gracious project. After all, The Madrassah started in Mogadishu in June of 1995. With professional teachers, this Madrassah is the first Madrasah to be constructed in Toronto and is also known as the Madrasah al-Qur’an Was Sunnah. In October I.E.G. Center will open another School in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

I.E.G.C. held its first Madrasat al-Qur’an Was Sunnah on the 1st of June, 1995 in Mogadishu, Somalia. It was also established in North America on the 1st of November in 2007. The final Madrassah will open in the United Kingdom in October/2008. The branches are

School Classes for weekend and after school

Class1 Beginner. Learning reading, writing and Qur’an memorization some of fundamental of Islamic.
Class2 intermediary. Learning Aqeedah, fiqh, Du’aa, Arabic Sunnah of (p.b.u.h.) and Qur’an memorization.
Class3 Highest. Learning Hadeeth, Aqeedah, Fiqh, Du’a, Sunnah of (p.b.u.h.) Stories, Arabic and Qur’an Memorization.

School Classes for weekdays Mon - Friday 

Class 1 for Elementary School   8:45 am - 3:00 pm 
Class 2 for Middle School         8:45 am - 3:00 pm

Registration 

The Madrasa Isalamic Education Guidance Centre will be resuming the school after Ramadan as usual and will take registration on September 26 and 27 2009.  The Class will start September, 3rd and 4th 2009. that is the Tahfeed Section.
